How long should my ants live? I bought the illuminated AntWorks and they seem to pass on faster then the one without the LED's.

Should I be turning the LED's off at night?

I've just ordered my first set of ants, so I have no personal experience, but I have read that ants live about 90 days (some Harvester ants are said to live a little longer, 2-6 months) .  Not sure how the light affects them.  How long have your ants been staying alive?
