I have a gel ant colony a friend gave me after her child tired of it - I want to use it in my classroom, but can't find a gel refill.  Any ideas?  Can I just put new ants into the current gel?  Why don't ants in my house keep living so long and proliferate so quickly.

You may have found them already, but just in case, try www.antgel.com.  They carry the red and the blue at $7 ea.
